What is a personal concierge?

From babysitting and grocery shopping, to planning a holiday or waiting for and supervising repairers to attend to your home, personal concierges do that and more. Our errand runners are multi-skilled problem solvers, that you can trust to oversee things for you and have them done as if you had done them yourself. They get all your tasks completed efficiently, professionally and confidentially.

Who uses a personal concierge?

Anyone who needs more time! These services are available for individuals or businesses who need the support to manage their busy lifestyles and work days. Our clients range from individuals and business owners with little personal time to single parents and busy families. We have clients who use us multiple times a week, and clients who only use us at busy times of the year like around Christmas and Easter.

Is a personal concierge not just for celebrities and the ultra rich?

Yes, the ultra-rich and celebrities can certainly use a personal concierge service, but so can you. The great thing about a personal concierge service is that you can get celebrity level service in a way that best suits you. The vast majority of our clients would certainly not classify themselves as ultra-rich. They have a wide range of incomes and use us to varying degrees. The one thing they all have in common is that they are busy and know that the investment in our services improves their lives immensely

I don’t think I really have anything you can help me with

Wow, congratulations, you obviously have a great work life balance and can find time for all the important things in your life. However, if you have a to do list in your head or on paper, then I would anticipate that there is something, if not many things that we can help you with. A lot of the things we help with are those things that are not urgent. Maybe it’s pictures you’ve been meaning to have sorted/arranged, a few small things you’ve been meaning to get fixed around the house, or some cloths you have been meaning to have exchanged/returned. It’s very common for our clients to start using us for just one or two things initially and once they get into the swing of it they realise there are so many ways they can use us.

You probably don’t do the types of things I need help with

Unless it is illegal or unethical, there isn’t all that much that we can’t help you with or find someone who can.

I've always done things myself and i'm reluctant to relinquish control

We understand that the things our errand runners help you with are very personal. You have your own way of doing things, or you feel that you shouldn’t be asking someone else to do these things for you. In order to be present and engaged in the important aspects of your life let us help you with the things that don’t require us to know your preference (pick up mail at the post office and renew your car registration disk). You don’t have to let go of everything, and you don’t have to let go all at once.  Contact us for a comprehensive list of services that we can do for you once-off.

I am a very private person

Confidentiality is a priority for us. We understand you like to keep your private life private. Your business is your business, and we are here to make your life easier, not more awkward.

What if I need your services at the last minute?

We love knowing that we are helping you when you really need us most. It is rare that we are unable to take on a task, however if we simply cannot do it we will do our best to find someone who can or try to work out another arrangement with you. Never hesitate to call as we pride ourselves on doing our utmost to help you.

Can I use your services on weekends or after hours?

Our working hours are from 7:00 to 19:00 Mondays to Fridays. In order to use our services outside of these times we need at least 48 hours notice to ensure availability  We also charge a surcharge for most out of hours work and will advise you if this is the case.

I’m not sure I feel comfortable giving you access to my house

Yes many of our clients provide us with a set of keys to access their home but this is entirely up to you and certainly dependent on the type of work we do for you. Please note that if you provide us with your keys you will always be advised when we will be accessing your home, and this would always be in conjunction with a regular task or specific request from you. Your keys are kept safely locked away with no identification to ensure security.

What areas do you service?

Our head office is in Benmore Gardens in Sandton. We currently have clients in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg but are not limited to these areas. We can also offer certain services to clients in Pretoria and anywhere in Gauteng.   We have also assisted clients with services while abroad.
